Okay, so this evening I was watching VH1's special "Black To The Future". It was very interesting and it had Michael Jackson and how he and J5 changed the music world for the better. The show was remembering things from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. My aunt called and was like "Did yall hear the news?" and I'm like "What news?". And at that moment she said something that I definitely didn't think I would be hearing. She said "Michael Jackson is dead." I screamed and I was extremely shocked. I hung up the phone and yelled "MAMAAAAA!!!". My mama came rushing through our front door and I told her the news. She was really shocked. My mama was a HUGE fan back when he was transforming into "The King of Pop". I quickly changed it to CNN. Reality kicked in when I saw "Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50" strolling across the screen. His death was so unexpected. I'm still in total shock. I loved his music and I would have loved to actually meet him one day. He was a living legend. I feel so sorry for his kids that won't get to be with their dad through adulthood. I feel sorry for all the fans that expected to attend his comeback tour starting in London. I feel sorry for his family, they will never get to receive a call from him again. They'll never get to sit down and have a conversation with him ever again. When I heard the news...I shedded plenty of tears. It was a sad moment for us all. No one expected today to be Michael Jackson's last day. He had such a unique talent. There is no one else like Michael Jackson. No one can duplicate him. He won us over when he was just 5 years old and he continued to wow us over 40 years later. He had numerous hit singles such as "I'll Be There", "ABC", "Thriller", "Bad", and "Billie Jean". He was the best..period. No one else was better or was more famous than him. He's even in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the Most Successful Entertainer of all Time. His death will always be consider as one of the world's biggest tragedies. R.I.P. Michael Jackson...I love you and always will! You were such a great musician!
